A native of Bergen County, Manny Morelli is excited to be managing the Breakaway Prep branch so close to where he grew up. Manny attended Boston College (GO EAGLES!) where he majored in history with a double minor in Italian and theology, and studied abroad in Parma, Italy during the fall semester of his junior year. Manny completed his Master of Education degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In his 8 years teaching, he has taught history in the Boston Public Schools, at Westwood High School in Westwood, MA and at Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ. He currently teaches 9th grade World History and AP World History at Cresskill High School in Cresskill, NJ. Manny is also an adjunct professor of social studies content and methods at the Relay Graduate School of Education in New York City. He specializes in ACT and SAT verbal prep, as well as history prep for the AP history exams and SAT subject tests. An avid runner, Manny ran the 2013 Chicago Marathon and raised almost $8000 for the American Cancer Society. He is a big fan of the Yankees, the Giants, really good pizza, traveling anywhere, New York City, his family, Long Beach Island, and Dunkin Donuts coffee.
